Tooth Anatomy Poster
This poster, to be hung in a dental office, depicts the anatomy of teeth. An illustration showing the occlusal surface of the maxillary and mandibular teeth serves to explain the numbering system used for teeth. The cross section reveals the "layers" found inside a tooth and how the roots sit in the bone of the jaw. All illustrations were created in illustrator using basic layering of shapes, blend shapes, and gradient mesh, and the overall layout was created in InDesign.

As with all projects, sketching is a crucial step in creating an accurate and pleasing final project. This is one example from my sketchbook including notes from my research.
